Updated HUD 4350.3 Handbook Available on Low-Cost CD

Sept. 5, 2007, Alexandria, Va. – The National Affordable Housing
Management Association (NAHMA) is offering a low-cost CD containing the
complete HUD Handbook 4350.3, Rev. 1, Change 2, in an easy-to-use
format.

The CD is available at a cost of $20 to the public, and $15 for members
of NAHMA, the national nonprofit advocate for managers and owners of
quality, affordable multifamily housing.

Orders may be placed at the NAHMA Web store at
http://www.nahma.org/store/, or via a form than may be downloaded and
faxed or mailed, also posted to the NAHMA website at www.nahma.org.

HUD Handbook 4350.3: "Occupancy Requirements of Subsidized Multifamily
Housing Programs" is the essential guide for ensuring compliance with
multifamily subsidy program requirements, including tenant eligibility,
applicant priority, tenant income and rent determinations, prohibition
of discrimination and other regulations.

The complete handbook – over 800 pages including nine chapters, the
table of contents, a glossary, the index, and 14 appendices – is
provided on the CD as a click-to-open, portable document format (pdf)
file. The CD is extensively bookmarked for every topic in each chapter
as well as in the appendices. Adobe Acrobat Reader is required to open
the files and can be installed free from the CD.

With the release of Change 2 to the handbook, NAHMA is also updating
its Certified Professional of Occupancy (CPO) training course for release this fall.
